The Olive Bowl by Laura Bilde for Service Projects is a small porcelain bowl with a lid, finished in a matte glaze. It works for olives, dips and snacks, or for keeping flaky and fine salt apart. The name refers to the familiar question of where to put the olive stones.

Service Projects was founded in New York at the end of 2022 by the Dane Philip Seerup and is now based in Copenhagen.

The name points to its main source of inspiration, the hospitality industry: from dim sum restaurants to French bistros and Japanese izakayas, Seerup admired tableware built to withstand busy service. The result is a collection of durable, functional objects in stainless steel, aluminium and glass, including a double-insulated French press influenced by industrial and Bauhaus design, aluminium egg cups and Canteen cutlery in 18/10 stainless steel, made to be used every day for years.
