Smith brought the sheepskin boots Australian surfers wore after cold morning sessions to the Californian coast, and the brand grew from the local surf scene. Since 1995 UGG has been part of Deckers Brands, based in Goleta, California. Sheepskin remains central to its designs. The men's Tasman slipper pairs a suede upper with a sheepskin lining and the woven Tasman braid at the collar, joined by clogs and sneakers made with the same focus on comfort.
