Mario Testino. SIR. 45th Ed.

For SIR, Mario Testino selected his male portraits from the past 30 years, showing well-known figures alongside unknown sitters. Costume, gender play, photojournalism and fashion meet in these pictures, which together record how male self-expression has changed over three decades.

The book contains more than 300 portraits. It was edited by Patrick Kinmonth, who has worked with Testino since the 1980s, and includes a text by Pierre Borhan, writer, curator and former director of photographic heritage at the French Ministry of Culture. Published in the 45th Edition series, the hardcover has 512 pages in German, English and French.
