Helmut Newton & Alice Springs. Us and Them

Helmut Newton and Alice Springs, the name under which June Newton worked as a photographer from 1970, shared a partnership in life and work that lasted fifty-five years. In 1998 they first published their intimate self-portraits and portraits of each other.

This book adds pictures of friends and well-known figures, photographed by both of them, and shows how closely their lives and their work were linked. The text is by Matthias Harder, director of the Helmut Newton Foundation in Berlin. The hardcover has 192 pages in German, English and French.
