Hafnon is a mohair velvet with a checkerboard pattern woven into the lustrous pile. The natural sheen of the mohair and a jacquard shadow structure create a lively play of light and shade. The rhythmic pattern refers to the Vienna Secession around 1900 and is woven in Italy on a rare loom that varies the direction of the pile.
