Guframini GOD is the 1:8 version of GOD, which TOILETPAPER, the studio of Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari, made for Gufram in 2013. They set out to knock Drocco and Mello's cactus off its pedestal by pairing it with eggs taken from Gianni Ruffi's La Cova, and ended up turning it into an object of worship.

The miniature is made of soft polyurethane, stands 26 cm high and weighs 350 g. It is a limited edition of 1,000 pieces. It comes in a wooden box with a sliding lid.

La Cova, the nest the eggs come from, is in the shop, as are TOILETPAPER's Soap and The End.

Gufram, founded in Turin in 1966 by the Gugliermetto brothers, became one of the defining producers of Italian Radical Design, turning polyurethane foam, then an industrial packing material, into sculptural furniture.

Its catalogue includes Cactus, the coat stand designed by Guido Drocco and Franco Mello in 1972, as well as Bocca and Pratone, with works held by MoMA, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Centre Pompidou. The Guframini series reproduces these icons at a scale of 1:8, among them Cactus and Broken Mirror, a design by the New York studio Snarkitecture.
