X Masculine is a woody, spicy fragrance of 178 ingredients, drawing on nature's aphrodisiacs in homage to the romance of Mark Antony and Cleopatra. Cardamom, pink pepper, ginger and bergamot open vividly, leading into a velvety heart of orris butter with jasmine, violet and cinnamon, before vetiver and oakmoss, softened by sweet vanilla, form an earthy base. Eau de Parfum, 100 ml.

British designer Clive Christian acquired the house in 1999 and relaunched it with the Original Collection, conceived as pairs of feminine and masculine scents such as X. The Private Collection followed with letter fragrances including C Woody Leather, L Red Tea Vetiver and E Cashmere Musk.
