In 1994 the Swiss designers Edwin and Salomée Faeh established Work in Progress as the exclusive European distributor of Carhartt, followed by the first own collection and a store on London's Neal Street in 1997. The label reinterprets classic workwear for everyday life and has long been connected to skateboarding, hip hop, graffiti and electronic music.
