Annie Leibovitz began as a photojournalist for Rolling Stone in 1970 while still a student at the San Francisco Art Institute, and moved to Vanity Fair in 1983, later working for Vogue and on independent projects. This book covers more than 40 years of her work, from 1970s reportage to conceptual, staged portraits.
Leibovitz made the selection herself, combining well-known images with photographs rarely or never seen before. This unlimited XXL edition follows the earlier SUMO and comes as a 560-page hardcover in a slipcase, in English. Texts are by Graydon Carter, Hans Ulrich Obrist, Paul Roth and Steve Martin.
