Bottega Veneta was founded in 1966 in Vicenza, Italy, by the entrepreneurs Michele Taddei and Renzo Zengiaro. The company name means 'Venetian workshop'. From the very beginning, the company's aim was to produce luxury leather goods by hand with the highest possible quality.
