Mid-century design was shaped by architects and designers working across furniture, glass, ceramics, lighting and textiles. Dominic Bradbury presents 300 of them in alphabetical order, from Alvar Aalto, Lina Bo Bardi, Charles & Ray Eames, Pierre Jeanneret, Florence Knoll and Gio Ponti to lesser-known figures from around the world.

Each entry combines a detailed text with images of post-war work, from furniture and lighting to tableware, and together they show how ideas moved between designers of the period. The hardback measures 310 by 230 mm and has 352 pages with 350 illustrations.
