Julius Shulman. Modernism Rediscovered

Julius Shulman's photographs of Californian architecture shaped how the 20th century saw modern buildings, among them structures by Frank Lloyd Wright, Pierre Koenig, Charles Eames and Richard Neutra. This book turns to a less familiar part of his archive: files that had been set aside and left unseen for years.

The completely revised edition presents forgotten photographs of California Modernism. Few of them have been widely published, and many of the buildings shown no longer exist. The text is by Pierluigi Serraino, an architect in the San Francisco Bay Area and author of the first Modernism Rediscovered in 2000. The hardcover has 576 pages in German, English and French.
